We've lost count of all the life lessons we've learned from yoga. But one lesson yoga has really driven home is to keep it simple. Hey, we only need two things to practice: our body and our yoga mat. By stripping away the extraneous, we're better able to focus on the essential stuff. An article at treehugger.com illustrates this beautifully. It's about an architect who was challenged to design an ultra-minimalist home for a yogi who slept on a yoga mat in a 566 square foot house. The architect's approach and final creation fascinated us. As the architect noted, designing this house was all about asking, "what do you really, genuinely need and use?"
